I’m pleased to make two announcements: the return of Open Play in the Park and a tournament on Sun, Mar 13! 


Both will be held at 
Conejo Creek North Park

Lakeside Pavilion  
Located behind TO Library. From fwy, left off Janss rd. Follow road past library, continue straight until bend to the left where you’ll see the large pavilion! Same site as our 2021 Open Play meetings and Feb tourney.

Casual event. Come and go anytime and play against anyone you like. Always free.


Also offering impromptu rated games!Play a rated blitz match with a friend, G/15 quick rated quad… even a G/30 regular rated game! Any format/time control. Great way to practice for tournaments or to boost your rating. Free of charge. 
Plan with somebody or let me know you’re interested at the park. I’ll try and find you a match!

Our next rated tourney, the Mar Swiss in the Park, will be Sunday, Mar 13!
Reduced entry fee but SAME prizes!
Four rounds in three sections: OpenUnder 1600, and Under 1000
The top 2 sections will play G/45 d5, while the U1000 will play double-rounds. This means they play two games against each opponent for a total of eight games! (G/30 d5).

Round times (modified): 10 am, 12 pm, 2:30 pm & 4:30 pm.

Spectators & casual players welcome. Plenty of separate skittles areas for Open Play.
